Holy Spirit, Our Allos Parakletos

Holy Spirit, Our Allos Parakletos

The Holy Ghost is called ‘Parakletos‘ in Greek: someone who comes or works alongside us to speak on our behalf.

He speaks favourably for us and helps us come to the presence of the Father in the most acceptable way.
He instructs on what pleases The Father so that we know when to approach Him with praise and not petitions during our conversations in prayer.

The Ministry of The Holy Ghost is most essential for anyone after God’s heart and not just His hand; because He is our best Guide to walk with the Father.

As Our Lord Jesus Christ did not start His ministry until He was baptized by the Holy Ghost, we also cannot function effectively as Christians until the Holy Ghost is allowed to express Himself in our lives.

The word for ‘another‘ in the Greek language in John 14:15 is “Allos Parakletos“, that is, “another comforter of the same kind“. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit who is the same in Function, Importance and Benefits as Jesus.

“If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray for the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever
John 14:15
(Read John 14:15-18)

When Jesus made this promise, he was dwelling physically with the disciples but now He dwells right within us.

It is therefore our responsibility to know how to show forth the indwelling of the Holy Spirit through the outworking of God in our life. We must manifest His works, love and glory!

The Ministry of The Holy Spirit is to our advantage and we must totally surrender to Him in order to maximize His benefits to fulfill our purpose in life, we are not limited to our five senses because He is our Extra Sense.

Everyone baptized in the Holy Spirit is carrying a weapon that the devil fervently hopes that they do not understand, respect and unleash so that they can deal with such normally while he deals with them spiritually. 1 Corinthians 2:2-10

The Evidence of The Holy Spirit is speaking in tongues and bearing the fruit of The Spirit called “Love”. Mark 26:17, Acts 1, 1 Corinthians 13,
Galatians 5:22-23.

In summary, all believers must strive daily to work with The Holy Spirit.

Shalom!
