How are we fulfilling prophecies? PART 1

There is a pertinent question we, believers at this end time must individually always ask ourselves. Our walk with God depends on it.

How am I fulfilling the prophecies spoken about in the scripture?

This topic is not meant to put anyone in despair but to keep us in check regularly as we await the soon return of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

It is quite disheartening that most of us fall victim to some of these prophecies, fulfilling them negatively instead of positively.

First of all, we must know that there is nothing happening in the world today that has not been spoken about in the bible. The bible is a complete living manual that contains everything about life, much more than the whole of humanity is willing to admit. Also, prophecies get repeatedly fulfilled from generation to generation.

Secondly, the major problem is that people do not read the word of God and apply it to their lives and situations, therefore they fulfil prophecies wrongly.

In order not to be victims of prophecies, we must study to show ourselves approved unto God, workmen that need not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (2 Timothy 2:15)

Cultivating the habit of diligently searching out God’s counsel through His word for our life, family, nation and so on is one of the ways to avoid falling victim.

In view of this, we shall be discussing some of the end time prophecies and we suggest that we all do a quick evaluation of ourselves to know where we stand.

In Luke 21:7-19, Jesus prophesied about deception, wars , climatic disasters, persecutions, family betrayal, protection and assurance of patience for the saints.
Which side of the divide, do you belong to?

Are you deceiving others in the name of Christ? Perhaps you claim to be one of His without truly knowing Him, let alone having a deep relationship with Him. You are fulfilling prophecy negatively, it is time to repent before it is too late.

Do you ignite the fire of ethnic crises, religious wars, national unrest and so on with your tongue? Be wise and repent! You are also fulfilling prophecy negatively.

Are you persecuting others because of their faith in Christ or betraying members of your household or family of God for any reason at all? You ought also to repent. Even if you are tongue talking; demon chasing or holding a title in church, you are fulfulling prophecies wrongly. It is better to repent now because tomorrow may be too late.

If you have been persecuted, betrayed for the sake of Christ, rejoice because the prophecy about you is that no hair on your head will be hurt and in your patience you possess your soul. DON’T LOSE HOPE OR FAITH, YOU ARE FULFULLING PROPHECY POSITIVELY. HALLELUJAH!
