- As the whole world celebrates Easter, please permit me to remind you of the reason for our hope and joy in Christ.
JESUS DIED FOR ALL MEN
Before His birth, death and resurrection, there were no Christians. Therefore, to attribute the sacrifice of Christ on the cross of Calvary only to Christians is a fallacy.
You may argue that there were many righteous people who served God acceptably before Jesus was born and I will definitely agree with you but if that was the perfect way of reconciliation God wanted, why then did He still send Jesus to die for the sins of mankind?
The blood of bulls and turtledoves could not appease God and cleanse our sins.
Jesus paid the ultimate price with His blood for all irrespective of creed, doctrine, religion, race, colour, status and so on. The One without sin, died for all sinners. His blood was the perfect atonement for the sins of all mankind.
By believing on His Name, accepting Him as Our Lord and Personal Saviour Jesus (thereby receiving from Him the forgiveness of sins) and wholly living for Him, we become Christians and this is an open invitation to all.
Through the ages, this truth has been debated but its relevance has remained undauntedly constant. If God said He was ( and still IS) the Only Begotten Son, in whom He is well pleased, I do not believe anyone should doubt that because God does not trivialize His word.
HE IS RISEN AND HE LIVES FOREVER MORE
Never in history has anyone been so powerful like Jesus. Even in death, He was victorious.
Do you remember that a great rock was rolled on His tomb to securely seal it and ensure He did not resurrect?
Hallelujah!!!
The grave could not hold His body down, the stone was rolled away.
JESUS IS ALIVE FOR EVERMORE!!
Friends, Jesus loves you so much He died as you (in your place). Just for you, He made that great sacrifice.
Please, stop bearing that heavy burden of sins alone, today! Whatever they are, just lay them down at His feet, trust Him and He will surely give you rest.
No one loves you like HE does. THAT YOU ARE ALIVE TO READ THIS, IS A TESTIMONY OF HIS GREATNESS IN YOUR LIFE.
