Through the Mercy of Our Loving God, it is very much possible to walk free from serious penalty of sin when we accept His forgiveness through the Salvation that The Precious Blood of Jesus purchased for us on the Cross of Calvary.
Romans 6:23 says, “The wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus Our Lord”
Jesus died in our place, giving His Life and Blood as a Ransom and Atonement for our sins, He came to restore fellowship with God, thus reconciling us with Our Maker. We were so unworthy because of our daily iniquities and we owed God so much for our misdeeds but Jesus paid all those debts with His blood.
Satan held us bound with chains, the souls of men were cunningly ensnared and violently imprisoned through wicked wiles, schemes and devices of Our Arch Enemy and the hosts of darkness.
We became lawful Captives, guilty as charged, condemned and sentenced without hope to eternal damnation in the courts of men, Satan and his cohorts.
We had no plea, all evidence was against us BUT FOR THE UNDYING LOVE OF GOD AND THE GREAT SACRIFICE OF OUR SAVIOUR, JESUS CHRIST that rescued us, where would we have been? What would have become of us?
“Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”
II Corinthians 5:18-21 NKJV
HE broke the prison doors, HE removed our filthy garments and clothed us with His Righteousness. We received Grace, Favour, Mercy, Joy, Forgiveness and Life Eternal. We, formerly tagged “The Accused”, are now celebrated by The Most High GOD and His Angels.
Friends, what better opportunity can anyone ever have than this? You might be notorious in your ways, nefarious in your acts and unapologetically inhuman in all that you do, or you might even be pious and seemingly have a form of godliness but deny the power therefore; meaning you only wear a cloak of righteousness to deceive others but your heart is far from God!
God is calling you to repentance today! He is waiting for you to choose to follow HIM; to choose Righteousness, Holiness and Eternity with Him. Please, do not make the sacrifice of Jesus over your life of non-effect!
