Spiritual Maturity

After Salvation,  what next?

Apostle Paul admonished believers at Ephesus after they had received Christ in the book of Ephesians 4:17-24 that they should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles(Sinners) in the futility of their mind, having their understanding darkened, and alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart.

However, he taught them to walk in unity(Ephesians4:1-16)   how not to grieve The Holy Spirit, walk in love, light and wisdom in Ephesians 4:25-32 to 5:1-21 as these were essential to their spiritual growth in Christ.

In Corinthians 3:2 He said, “I fed you with milk and not solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it and even now you are still not able”.

Hebrews 5:12-14 read “For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God and you have come to need milk and not solid food”

“For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe”.

“But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern good and evil”.

At HOTF, our primary goal is Godliness (pleasing God in everything by His Grace and exhibiting this to the world through our values) therefore we have spent five months since we started, admonishing ourselves on how to be good ambassadors of Christ in this perverse world, knowing all is forever good and perfect in Heaven but this dying world needs salvation.

If our faith in God and His righteousness and our value system are hidden and not different from what the world does or believes in, how can we minister Christ to them, reuniting them with The Father?

This is the reason why we asked on the biodata form if you are born again and baptised by the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues.  If you are not convinced you are, there is an opportunity for you now.

Our Father’s work requires urgency and only those who are diligently willing, ready and mature will be chosen and rewarded.  God bless you all.
