Reading through the book of Exodus, I could not help wondering why all the drama back and forth. The children of Israel were subjected to the greatest inhuman and unfair treatment, they cried earnestly to God but help seemed so far away.
Knowing The Awesome Power of God, it obviously did not have to take that long to defeat Pharaoh and his army and bring deliverance for the children of Israel.
In this case however, God chose to do it in a more fascinating manner. He gave Pharaoh a long rope to entangle himself and his people and he did just that!
(May give all the Pharaohs in our lives the same long rope to entangle themselves) Amen.
Of course, it is true that through occultic power(enchantment), Pharaoh’s magicians performed some of the signs and plagues but God’s Mighty power through the hands of Moses and Aaron superseded. God’s way is perfect and passed finding out, His wisdom is infinite and unsearchable.
Exodus 14 verses 17 & 18 read “And I indeed will indeed harden the hearts of the Egyptians and they shall follow them. So I will gain honour over Pharaoh and over all his army, his chariots and his horsemen.
The Egyptians shall know that I am The Lord, when I have gained honour for Myself over Pharaoh, his chariots and horsemen.”
God did exactly that and in Exodus 15, the children of Israel were full of thanksgiving praises to God. They finally got their prayers answered.
Brothers and Sisters, I want you to know that despite your difficult circumstances or desperate situation and how long you have been crying, praying and asking God for help, keep holding on because God is coming through for you. He will definitely bring you out safely, delivering from all your troubles. He never fails.
