Jesus! Jesus!! Jesus!!! Who is Jesus?

JESUS! JESUS!! JESUS!!! WHO IS JESUS?
From the old Testament to the new Testament, there were many prophecies about the birth, reign, death and resurrection of This Messiah called Jesus long before He was born.

In this lesson, we shall be focusing on who The Saviour of the world called Jesus, really is.
Prophet Isaiah said in the book of Isaiah 9:6 says, “For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon his shoulder.

And His name will be called Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.”

King David amongst others also prophesied about His crucifixion in Psalms 22. After the fall of man in the Garden of Eden, God decided to restore humanity back to Himself through a new way. The King of glory Himself came in human form and shed His blood for the sins of the whole world since the blood of animals was never enough for the remission of sins.

(John 1:3,10-14) The love God had and still has for us, made Him lay aside His glory, as He worked and walked on earth, ate and lived as men, seeking once again the fellowship He had always wanted with men.

There were so many wonders, miracles, healings wrought by His Mighty and Holy hands. Demons trembled at His command. He taught men so passionately to prioritize the kingdom of heaven above every other accomplishment in life.

There was none like Him and there will never be anyone like Him. He was and still is God in human form. (1 Timothy 3:16). Indeed, everything written about Him is great and true because He is the Truth. (John 4:24-26: John14:6).

An encounter with Him was and still is life changing (a positive turnaround). He reigned before time began, He still reigns now and will continue to reign forever. He promised to return and take His mostly beloved holy seekers and worthy enquirers to Heaven with Him and save us from the great judgment that is to befall those who reject Him.

The questions now are, “Where do you stand with Him? Do you know Him? Are you walking with Him and earnestly waiting for His return? Are you busy telling others of His great love for them?

Are you willing to give up everything and follow Him? Will you be counted worthy to escape the judgment that is to come? Will He say to you, “Well done, thou faithful servant, enter into the joy of your Lord”? It is not too late to make amends but tomorrow
may be too late. God forbid that our labour be in vain.

Let us all reflect on this as we labour for The Master from dawn to dusk, making sure we please Him in everything. Let brotherly love continue. Let us continue to pray for one another and walk in love and unity.

God bless you all.
Shalom!
