My Peace I Give You

Jesus said, “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”
John 14:27

With the major global crisis and all the unprecedented happenings shaking the very foundation of our faith and belief in God’s peace, what we ought to do now is to simply latch onto the peace, Jesus gives.

There is NO better place to find lasting peace except in The Lord Jesus Christ. Thus, it is pointless to look for it elsewhere.
John 16 verse 33, “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulations; but be of good cheer. I have overcome the world”.

Being saved (washed by the Precious Blood of Jesus and completely forgiven of our sins) authorizes us to enjoy Peace through Jesus Christ.
Romans 5:1 “Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ”.

In 2 Corinthians 13:11, Apostle Paul assured us that God’s love and peace are always with us when he wrote, “Finally, Brethren, Farewell. Become COMPLETE. Be of GOOD COMFORT, be of ONE MIND, LIVE IN PEACE AND THE GOD OF LOVE AND PEACE WILL BE WITH YOU.”

Dearly Beloved, Peace is not the absence of troubles, challenges, difficulties or war but it is the overwhelming tranquility that comes from knowing we are never alone and that Our Ever Loving Heavenly Father is forever on top of every situation, calming the raging storms in our lives and bringing us safely out.
