Our Prayer Answering God

When God said in Isaiah 65:24 “It shall come to pass before they call, I will answer, and while they are still speaking, I will hear “, He meant every word of it.

We serve a God who loves hearing and listening to our voices first thing in the morning, in the afternoon and late at night.
His desire is for us to discuss all our issues with Him so that He can guide and direct us through life’s dark path.

He does not just want to hear us whine and complain about how unfair life is, He understands it all, He wants us to appreciate the good things He has done for us in spite of all our challenges.

Our constant and regular dialogue with Him portrays our trust, humility and total dependence on His Sovereignty.

Prayer is the act of communicating with God and He, responding to us. It is a dialogue and not a monologue. When we pray to God we should expect Him to answer back, otherwise, our prayer is not answered and that is not what He promised.

Answers to all prayers however, are subject to His will and timing but one thing is sure, He never fails to hear us, even His silence is a form of response. It means ‘WAIT!, HOLD ON!!, and NO ACTION SHOULD BE TAKEN YET!!!’
Oh! how often we misunderstand that.

There is really nothing He is not aware of. He knows everything, He sees everything. Even our thoughts are not hidden from His eyes. He is The God Almighty and He is not unfamiliar with our thoughts, actions and feelings. Nothing takes Him by surprise.

Permit me to introduce to some of you who do not have a relationship with Him yet and present to those who already know Him, OUR ONE AND ONLY GOD, THE ONE LIKE NO OTHER, THE LOVER OF OUR SOULS, THE GREATEST, THE MIGHTIEST, THE CREATOR, THE CONQUERING LION OF THE TRIBE OF JUDAH, OUR PRAYER ANSWERING GOD!!!

At the mention of His Name, Desperate and hopeless situations turn around for the best, He delightfully makes the impossible possible, principalities and powers, thrones and dominions bow before Him. He is none other than OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, THE MESSIAH.

His invitations to us in the following scriptures are enough evidences that He answers prayers.

Jeremiah 33:3 “Call to Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things which you do not know”

Isaiah 55:6 “Seek the Lord while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near”

Matthew 7:7 -8 “Keep Asking Seeking, Knocking , Ask and it will be given to you seek and you will find knock and it will be opened to you”
Vs 8 “For everyone who asks receives and he who seeks, finds and to him who knocks it will be opened”.

Mark 11:23-24 “For assuredly I say to you whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that those things he says will be done he will have whatever he says”
Vs 24 “Therefore I say to you whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them and you will have them”.

Since creation, the modalities for prayers were set in the bible because Our God is a Principled God and He delights in our prayers of thanksgiving, petition, agreement supplication, commitment and intercession.

That is why if anyone’s prayer is not be answered, it is definitely not because God does not answer prayers but because he or she does not pray right nor even obey God’s laid down rules to effectual prayers.

The Old and New Testaments contain proof (Testimonies) of men and women, old and young who had their prayers answered.
The God of those people is still God today. We should exercise our faith in prayer by believing Him for whatever our requests are. He truly never fails.

Therefore please pray today and pray always. Men ought to pray and not lose heart. (Luke 18:1)

God bless you.
Shalom
